  1. What business or project are you going to create a logo for? 🙂 Hope you enjoyed the video and found it useful.

    1. Sara Nguyen I haven’t tried those before lol! Im just starting a Lash Extension business! Maybe later in my career I can start a lash strip business also! Endless paths to take lol

  2. Hi If I want to send this logo to someone! How can i send them so that they could use that logo for their use?

  3. this is not from scratch as you base your logo on a tamplate. It would be nice to see something done from 0

  4. Hey Sara!
Can I use the logo created on canva on my website, invoices and agreement too? What are your thoughts on creating a logo on Wix and paying to download it? How different is the paid and free version? please advise. Thank you!

  5. i dont think canva supports vector based drawing. logos should be in vector forms, personal pref.

  6. Hello dear I don’t have Canva subscription and whenever I create a logo it doesn’t allow me to get or export the logo in HD. It gives 32kb images. Any solution

  7. Thank you for this video. Is it allowed to use the “Elements” in logos? I read you’re only allowed to use the things given in the template and you’re only allowed to use templates for designing logos… I’m so confused by the terms of use for canva…

  8. Canva promotes making logos but says you cannot use it as a trademark so what’s the use if you can be sued for copyright issues

  9. Hello Sara, great vid. Wondering how to adjust size as each time i downloaded a Canva item the site i tried using it on said it was too big. Thank you.

  10. Thank you for making this video. I just signed up with Canva today & I wanted to make a logo and your video walked me right it.

  11. Hi Sara, loved the video and the way explain. Question – if you take the Canva pro plan and add an image from a free source site, can it be trademarked?

Thanks again for the video and shall await your reply 🙂

    1. Hey Sushil. Thanks for the comment. You will need to check with your lawyer. I’m not qualified to say whether or not it can be trademarked. The responsibility is on you as the user to ensure the legal use of what you create.

  12. thank you so much! i really wanted to make logos but im just 9yrs old my parents told me this is too hard

    1. i am 10 and my mom said the same but i tried and tried now i have my own business with over 10000,00 and i am 10 thx

  13. Thanks for the video, just a few Qs if you don’t mind. If you pay for a photo, and are not a premium member, you have to pay for it for every download? And then it says you can not magic resize it for business use? And the PNG invisible background box is not available for basic members, but only premium membership?

  14. I don’t know how to upload the logo to send to my email although I chose by email but show nothing 🙏

  15. Thanks for the Video! Unfortunately once I wanted to download the transparent background option was for premium account only 😭 do you recommend to pay for it ?

    1. Nataly Liz check out the link in my description…you can get access to a premium account for 30 days.

  16. Thanks so much for this informative video! I’ve been struggling with making a logo on canva for over a week and now I have it figured out!

    1. How to get a transparent background? Do we have to pay for it? Please reply asap, it’s urgent.

  17. This is so great! I just uploaded my 2nd video ever, and in it, I include Canva as one of my top 5 favorite online tools. Thank you for this fantastic tutorial!

  18. Can someone please help me? I cannot get my cover image to upload to my store. It is 2400×600 2.3mb I am already ready to give up on doing this. I can’t even get my image to load!

  19. I’m really confused about the rules with images in Canva… this is a direct quote from their website as of 6th June 2020 “Logos cannot contain elements from Canva’s image library, either free or paid, as per section 4i of our license agreements. However, basic shapes, lines, free fonts and our pre-made logo layouts and the elements contained in those layouts may be used in logos. You’re also welcome to use your own elements that you upload to Canva to create your logo.” So how did you use the sewing machine?

  20. I have watched a number of Sara’s videos and she is the best. Her method is logical and the flow of her presentations are excellent making them easy to remember and therefore use. Sara makes learning easier. Thanks

  21. Hi Sara, and thanks for the video. Now, I may be wrong, or missed it if you brought it up, but to have a transparent background you need canva pro, which is an annual membership that cost $120 USD/year.

  22. I wish the app worked like this. All the images disappear when I select one to get a closer look. It sucks.

  23. Hi, I’m Caleb

About the elements, illustrations to be precised. I’ve been trying to get an illustration of a warehouse cart here on canva, but all I see are watermarked. What do I do to get an element without watermark?

  24. This is great for beginners or if you have a low budget, but definitely need a logo designer later on. They’re just on another level, and there’s more to logo design than meets the eye, especially with fonts.

    1. If you have Canva Pro you can resize it easily 🙂 you can also get a free trial of Canva Pro from the link in my description

    1. You can only access to a limited number of free images on Canva. You need to upgrade to the paid version to access all the cool features of Canva.

    1. Bendyfan360 Offical, I believe there is other software you can use that is free to turn you image or logo into a png that removes the background or give you a transparent background. Ipiccy may be one you can use. Also for those cricut users out there, you can do it with your Cricut software. Just download your Canva logo to your computer and upload to Cricut Design space and follow the directions from there.

  25. you’re very pretty, sarah! and of course, intelligent too :-} where are you based these days ?!

  26. This was a helpful tutorial. One thing to note, you cannot download a transparent file in the free version, you must have the paid version of Canva to do so.

  27. Canva has some language on its site about using their images and fonts. So is it okay to use the logos you create on Canva on a blog or on a site where you sell things?

  28. HI Sara. So happy to find you here. So helpful! Trying to do a logo like your 🙂 I want to change the background color like you did in this tutorial. You change to yellow. I can’t find the option here 🙁

  29. Hello Sarah I currently have Canva 2.0, but it is not the Canva work version. Can you tell me how to copy and paste a design from one sheet to the next. Here’s the situation, I created an Instagram post and I want to duplicate it identically to another page can this be done in Canva 2.0 , thank you.

  30. Thank you for the easy step by step instructions… Very informative. I’m gonna try it today. Mahalo and ALOHA… 😉😀
