  1. Awesome, I love your tutorials! Thank you for sharing all these amazing tips, I can’t wait to create my own!

    1. Thats weird. I just looked it up. On my phone web browser it’s still showing $12.95 monthly or $9.95 yearly.

  2. This is a great video. Thank you for all your information Sandra. I am trying to learn how to insert text into my YouTube video… and also a transparent subscribe button. I will search your other videos and see if you’ve made one. I am using iMovie, canvas and now keynote. In adventure, love and health, Denise Chambers. Dix means 10 in French and rhymes with Peace.

    1. No problem. Thanks for watching! For green screens and other video editing tips watch this https://youtu.be/j2GHI4m83_A

It’s centered around Filmora but may still be helpful. In the description of that video there’s time stamps so you can skip to parts of video you need.

  3. Thank you very much 😁
I am planning on starting a YouTube channel very soon, and I have been using Canva for a long time, but this video taught me some new tricks!

  4. How To Make *Animated Videos* With Canva (Step By Step Tutorial) ➡️  https://youtu.be/sfUcS2AiOhc

  5. I started using Canva a few days ago. Now thanks to you, I have learned so much more to help me with my channel.

  6. Hi Sandra, did you show how to make an image background transparent in canva? If so, what video was that? Thanks!

  7. Can you pleeeaaase tell me how to change the color of the outline on a shape??? I have tried everything and can’t do it. Help

    1. Do you mean you want to use a shape that has an outline with a different color than the inside of the shape?

  8. One of the BEST Canva tutorials I have seen! Informative, straight to the point, and very detailed! Thank you for sharing!

  9. Wonderful Video – thanks so much. My question is this: I have a website andI sell products. How do I create product photos and import them to my photo library online so that I can then upload them to my website? Do I create them as a thumbnail?

    1. Oh, I see. Download the image from Canva to your computer. There should be an option to upload to your website media library from your computer, so you can choose the Canva image.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

    2. Sandra The Mom Boss I know how to size them but how do I get them from Canva to my website gallery ? With a link? Thanks so much.

    3. For product photos you may have to use the CUSTOM DEMENSIONS option.

It depends on how big you want your product graphics to be. For Ebooks I use roughly 1420 X 2250 Pixels. For small square photos I use 315 X 315 Pixels.

  10. You have done a great job on YOUR stuff. YOU focused on you too much in at the start. I wanted to know how tos start!!!

  11. So helpful. Thanks a lot and I was thinking about paying for this info and I provided it for free….still a lot to learn though. Do you have one for design ing tshirts

    1. Yup I still learn new things about Canva all the time. So much you can do with it. I don’t have one on Tshirt designs though.

  12. Awesome video, Sandra! I really appreciate the tutorial. I was so frustrated trying to learn Canva on my own. I know I will be referencing this over and over again as learn this software. Thanks again!

    1. You’re welcome Angie. I felt the same way when I started using Canva- overwhelm by all the buttons and options. Great to hear this helped you🤗

  13. Great Video!

I have a small issue, which is why i was looking for tutorials. I come across overlapped items all the time. Is there an easy way to select an object that is completely underneath another one, without moving the top one? If you know, do tell me. Thanks.

  14. Really great canva tutorial, such a great library for images! I have been a little frustrated with how I am able to present my work online. I put a lot of effort into the graphic design on Canva, but it is kind of wasted because all I am able to do at the moment is digital marketing. Since all my brochures/catalogues are only seen as separate disconnected pages, all the effort goes to waste. I have found an integration with canva where I can upload my design and then download and share my Simplebooklet. If anyone is interested check out https://simplebooklet.com/learn/animated-tri-folds.php

  15. Thank you for this detailed and very informative tutorial. You broke everything down well and made it super easy to understand. Thank you!

  16. GREAT VID SANDRA IT HELPED A LOT SINCE ME IS GONNA MAKE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL
but don’t u mean how to MAKE eye catching graphic designs on Canva?

    1. Lol. Yes. But wanted to shorten the text on the thumbnail. Glad this was helpful. Good luck with your channel! I wish you MUCH MUCH success 🤗💕

  17. Thanks for your nice indications. I would just like to know how to make some videos. Congretly I struggled with texts on them.

    1. iPad Canva app doesn’t work the same as the web version. There’s not a way to select all the text at once yet.

  18. The way you explain everything is great. I will now get the pro version and start for real Thanx

  19. can you please show how to use folders? I am very confused because I am moving to folder, but my image is not showing

    1. @Sandra The Mom Boss Thank you soo..much for visiting my channel and gotta ‘approval’ from you. I am now trying to include music in the video. God bless you for your effort and kindness

  20. I just want you to know that I really appreciate you for making this video!!! You did a phenomenal job!!!
    Thank you so much!!!

    P.s.
    I just subscribed😊💕😊💕

  21. One of the best Canva tuts I’ve seen. FYI, when you add people to a “team” you also pay the monthly charge per person. Thanks!

    1. It’s just what most companies do in hopes that you like their product and stick around. But if you cancel before the trial period is over you will not be charged.

    1. @Sandra The Mom Boss Thank you so much. I appreciate you taking the time to show me this. I will check it out. Bless!

    2. Oh I see. Canva is more for video design not necessarily editing.

When I got started I used Youtubes free video editor. Now I use Filmora (here’sa tutorial https://youtu.be/j2GHI4m83_A). They’re both pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    1. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Ads are how I get compensated for planning, recording, and editing these videos. But thanks for that feedback. I’ll keep it in mind moving forward.

  22. Hi, for the frames with letters, I have been unsuccessful putting one photo behind multiple letters so it looks like a continuous photo. I have only been able to add one photo per letter. How did you do that? Thanks!

    1. In the video it looks like I did it all at once, but I actually added the pic to each letter one by one.

I was looking into it. I cant find a way to do it all at once.

But you can double click the picture within each letter and itll let you move it around so you can adjust it as necessary so it can look like it’s continuous.

That’s the best idea I have. I hope it helps. If I learn a new way I’ll let you know here.

  23. Thank you. Lots of great detailed information. I like to watch it through the first time and then the 2nd time I following along with you to get a better understanding.

    1. Sandra The Mom Boss honestly, you are professional and well experienced. I want to know about about how to make videos to build up my channel. Pls share any recommended tutorial to make a video. Thanks a lot for your help. It’s my pleasure to be always here in your channel. Thanks, Sandra

    2. @Happy man Thanks so much! I don’t use an iPhone so I wouldn’t know too much. But I imagine it would be very similar to this tutorial.

As far as presentations I’ve used PowerPoint a few times. But itd be awesome to see how a Canva presentation turns out. I’ll make a tutorial on this once I try it.

Again thanks for visiting my channel!

    3. Thanks a lot Sandra. You are awesome. I am seeking your help. I’m new to canva and I want learn about how can I make a professional video through canva. I want also to learn canva on iphone. You are lovely, professional, well-explained tracer, lovely, and rich in heart!
      Can you teach me?!!

    1. Add the shape or element to your design. Select it by clicking on it. A horizontal editing bar should appear towards the top. The first option will be the color. It’s a small square colored box. That’s where you change it.

Some elements allow you to change the color. Others don’t.

Also make sure you are using the latest version of Canva to make sure everything is working on point.

      Hope this helps!

  24. Just subscribed!!! Thanks! Your Canva tutorial was soooo helpful. I tried to use it before “learning” how to use it… BIG MISTAKE! Thanks again!

  25. Thank you for this video! I appreciate the fact that you explained everything in detail so well and at a tempo that was perfect; not too fast and not too slow! Wish more videos were like this one! 😊

  26. I keep the account very clean, I just sign-up with Canva and now my email is flooded with SPAM!!! Thanks Canva.

  27. Hey Sandra, wow you just showed me how much time and extra clicks I’ve been wasting esp with “tennis elbow” that slows me down – thank you for that! I laughed at myself a few times thinking duh it was right there!! LOL Anyway, the only thing I’m lacking in my months and months of research and planning and designing is I read the terms and conditions and the licenses – I see on the free design that it says something about not being to use a “stock image” that’s larger than 600×800 “per stock file while unedited”. I know you’re not an attorney and you may have no idea but what the heck does that mean? I went to a graphic site that shows that being appx 6×8″ and a tshirt design has to be way bigger than that – I just don’t want to get sued or shut down by Canva and I don’t know what that means. Just wondered if you did. 🙂 I’ve already created several designs using say one cute element and a phrase and I can tell you it’s about 40″ (because one designer who also does YT said to go in and use a big like 52″ x 52″ and then it won’t ever be too small – a png will load well) So when I load it onto my shirt in teespring it can’t be much bigger than the 6×8 ish HOWEVER on RedBubble I’ve made a comforter, shower curtain, etc. and I have to check those so before a spend money marketing my things I am trying to make sure I’m compliant. THANK YOU so much for your videos – I’m subscribing – you give excellent content and genuine help! Bless you, J

  28. Is it for begginers? It is for ppl who never works with pc. Explaining “click arrow to resume”??? Really?
I am begginer. I worked 4-5 hours so far and wanted to learn sth new, tables, putting image into frames, creating own frames. I know how to do this but maybe there os any faster way.

  29. Thanks. I learned a lot from you. I am new on canva and want to learn lot about it. I’ll watch more videos later. Thanks again.👍

  30. The reason I clicked on this video is you were one of the only people who actually put a picture of what they had created on canva as the thumbnail! Leading with what you have created is a good approach. This was a fantastic video! You’ve got yourself a new subscriber! Thanks!

    1. No you don’t need Canva Pro. Click on the download button (right next to share). The first option will be “order prints with Canva”. Let me know if this works.

  31. I’m totally new to Canva and I learned a lot from your tutorial! In your next video, you may consider speaking a little more slowly and distinctly, this will help your viewer who may be following you as you teach each step. In addition, this will also help not having to go back and rewatch a portion that maybe was not clear.

  32. Good afternoon, Sandra! Such a great refresher tour of Canva. I really appreciate you keeping your Canva tutorials updated as new features are introduced!… ✨😎✨

  33. I need to create / edit — 2800 x 3200 px x 300 dpi transparent PNG files
Con Do in Canva and Canva Pro — RIGHT??

  34. Awesome Video – thank you — looks like it can do most of what Photoshop does and it’s appears to be a lot easier too
